I helped a friend farm and harvest a type of corn called "Blood Brothers" which I used to develop my own variety - a 90 day purple corn called "Soltera Morado". This is a main crop grown at Felt Hollow, along with a similar size bed of hard neck garlic. There are also grapes, pears, plums and cherries growing in the garden.
I also have a small vegetable garden along with some herb beds.
We also harvest wild salads, mushrooms and berries which grow near Felt Hollow.
A lot of knowledge has been accumulated learning the local wild foods and medicinal plants. There is always more to learn, which is an ongoing and important part of living here, close to the land.
Although this is an activity at Felt Hollow, I do not have any pictures ready yet! I will update this section shortly.
